Ok, mom - we got you.
KITebikes come with three speeds that you can lock-out, meaning your three-year-old can't crank it to 100mph and ride off into the sunset. Parents can lock-out in "slow mode" for beginners meaning they'll top out at at speed that you can speed-walk next to.
When they're ready to progress (i.e. when you want them to keep up), you can set the lock to "medium" or "high."
As with all bikes for kids, helmets are a must, full-face helmets are awesome (and look rad on kids), knee pads are cool, elbow pads are too!
